The Challenge

Teralon were hired to assist London Marathon Events’ marketing team with the social media coverage of London Marathon 2023. Over the course of 5 days, our task was to produce a mix of short form and long form content for LME’s various outlets, and ensure the the event’s key moments & atmosphere were comprehensively shared online. 

The Strategy

Coordinating coverage from start to finish, as well as the lead up to the race, our focus was rapid editing and near real-time sharing on LME’s socials to provide high-quality instant updates minutes after being filmed. Working closely with LME’s marketing teams, coverage of key events was planned in advance, while reactive teams were also deployed to capture the more spontaneous moments.

The Results

Producing 100+ pieces of content in various formats and shared across multiple platforms, we were able to significantly boost overall engagement. Seamlessly blending the marathon’s excitement with behind-the-scenes footage of elite athletes, we delivered a dynamic narrative of the iconic event.
