On March 23rd 2020, lockdown regulations were introduced in the UK to help stop the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. The streets of London were left empty in this unprecedented event. It was too unique to not capture on camera.
Over the course of three days, our co-director Julian Wakefield set his alarm early and cycled in to central London as part of his daily allowance of physical exercise. He brought a camera with him and captured the eerie scenes of London.
The resulting video was widely shared across social media being picked up by numerous accounts, including TFL. Clips from the video have been licensed to numerous documentaries, news reports, and commercials.
